Who can attend Nursing in Practice events?
Nursing in Practice events are specifically designed for primary care nurses. Unfortunately, in accordance with ABPI guidelines, we cannot accept students or healthcare assistants due to the presence of pharmaceutical companies in the exhibition. Secondary care nurses (based in a hospital) are not eligible for a free place.
What can I expect at a Nursing in Practice event?
The event will run for the whole day and consists of a variety of talks from top speakers, as well as a free exhibition for you to enjoy. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and network with your peers and the speakers throughout the day.

How will I receive my certificate of attendance and presentations?
Within 14 days of the event, you will receive an email from the Nursing in Practice events team. Please complete the online evaluation survey. The final page will then contain a link to a webpage where you can download your certificate and some of the presentations.
The presentation I require is not online. How do I get it?
Presentations are made available on the permission of the speakers. If it is not available to download, we are not able to share the presentation.
How many CPD hours is the event worth?
Each event is worth a slightly different number of CPD hours. If you leave early, it is up to you to amend the certificate and claim the number of hours equal to the seminars you attended.
